Henry not rushing decision

Malik Henry still has the same four favorites and after a few upcoming visits the 2016 five-star quarterback could be ready to make his decision.
The Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake standout said he's probably going to visit Florida State when it hosts Notre Dame next weekend and that could be a major trip especially since he's never been to Tallahassee for a game.

Florida State, Notre Dame, UCLA and Ohio State round out the top four for Henry, rated as the second-best pro-style quarterback and the No. 9 overall prospect in the 2016 class by Rivals.com. He's the top-rated prospect in the California state rankings.
"It could be pretty big," Henry said. "I've never been to a Florida State game so I want to see the atmosphere and how everything plays out down there. I'm looking forward to talking to coach (Tim) Brewster and coach (Jimbo) Fisher. Hopefully, I hear nothing but good things from them so we'll see how it goes."
Henry visited Notre Dame over the summer and again this season when the Irish defeated Michigan in early September.
There is no doubt the five-star quarterback has developed a good relationship with Notre Dame quarterbacks coach Matt LaFleur and it could pay big dividends as Henry inches closer to a decision.
"Coach LaFleur brings a lot of knowledge to the game coming from the NFL, coming from coaching (Robert Griffin) and all the NFL prospects," Henry said. "I think he could really help me out at the next level. So can all the other quarterback coaches. I'm not doubting them at all and I think they're all great."
Henry, who looked good this summer at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by Under Armour, said he also wants to attend a UCLA game before making his commitment. An Ohio State trip is not expected at this point but that could change.
"I just want to go down there and see a game, just get used to the atmosphere and talk to coach (Taylor) Mazzone and coach (Jim Mora) and see what they have to say and we'll go from there," Henry said of UCLA.
There is no specific decision timetable. The five-star said he plans to take his trips and then possibly narrow his list again before making a choice. As for a commitment, Henry said he's going to do it when he's comfortable. There is no rush.
"I still haven't made a decision," Henry said. "In the next couple weeks I'll probably narrow it down maybe and then we'll go from there."
