Hendrix attends two B1G junior days

With Illinois hosting a junior day on Saturday and Indiana holding theirs Sunday, Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne 2014 linebacker Dorian Hendrix was able to visit both schools on one trip, and came away from the weekend another scholarship heavy.
"I am just now leaving Indiana University and I just received a scholarship offer from them," Hendrix said. "I was excited and got a chance to talk to the linebackers coach and the head coach, Coach [Kevin] Wilson. I saw their facilities, which were real nice. We went to a basketball game and the whole atmosphere with that was amazing. I really enjoyed it and my family enjoyed it."

Now with an Indiana offer in hand, Hendrix is hoping to make a return visit to Bloomington for a spring practice.
Hendrix also picked up a new offer from Kentucky on Monday. His first scholarship offer of the process came from Illinois last spring, and Saturday's visit to Champaign was another chance to enhance his relationship with the Illini program.
"I think that was my third trip there and every time I get a chance to get to Champaign it is a good vibe and a good feel," Hendrix said. "This time I saw some different parts of the campus like the recreational center and Engineering [facilities]. I got a chance to talk with the coaches and get to know them a little bit more."
Following this weekend's visit to two Big Ten programs, Hendrix does not have any other junior day visits scheduled but is considering lining up future visits with Purdue and Michigan.
Outside of his three BCS offers from Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky, the 6-foot-1, 215-pound Hendrix also holds offers from Bowling Green, Buffalo, Ohio and Toledo.
