Tyrik Henderson has plenty of time to adjust to life as a college prospect. The class-of-2018 defensive back lists offers from Purdue, Central Michigan and South Dakota State.
He’s hoping that list grows in the near future, but he’s not stressing. His approach is laid back. Next up on the docket for Henderson? A visit to Toledo, for which he has high hopes.
“A few of my friends went to the camp up there and liked it,” Henderson said. “That’s all I know. I know they want me and the whole group of us to take a visit sometime soon. I’ve got that coming up.”
A standout at Illinois’ Glenbard North High School, Henderson names no favorite in the process and says he will wait until after his junior season to do so.
IN HIS WORDS: “I’m talking to Illinois and Indiana a lot, but no offers yet,” Henderson said. “I’m still pretty new to this whole recruiting thing.”
RIVALS REACTION: Henderson is likely to attract a pile of offers before the end of his recruitment, so projecting where he may land is difficult at this point.
