Helm getting in-state interest

There is a sleeper emerging after a strong showing at the NIKE Combine this past weekend in Keller, Texas.
The 5-foot-11, 173-pound Bo Helm from Childress, Texas popped off a sub 4.0-second shuttle time and now the all-district and all-district running back is looking at recruiting options.

"I've received quite a few letters from North Texas, some stuff from SMU and I'm going to Rice this weekend to check out their campus," Helm said. "I haven't had any offers yet."
Helm took an unofficial trip to North Texas and left impressed.
"It's the only college I've actually visited to see it up close, so they're up there," Helm said about UNT. "They just have a really nice complex there."
Helm said that he made the trip to Keller for the combine in order to put his name on the map along with competing against other top players.
"We're a small town, so you can be good there," Helm said. "But here, everybody is good. So I just wanted to see what was out there."
The talented Helm says he's a safety that has the "ability to make the big hits" but also wants to make sure to "wrap up first and foremost."
