Heimuli adds another offer

It's becoming clearer and clearer that Salt Lake City Brighton defensive tackle Ricky Heimuli is one of the West's best players.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder already has received scholarship offers from BYU, Utah and recently Stanford. Earlier this week, he added another Pac 10 offer to his resume.

"Ricky has just received another offer from University of Washington," Sefo Heimuli, Ricky's brother, said. "He talked to coach (Steve) Sarkesian and had a good conversation with him on the phone.
"Coach Sarkesian told him that really enjoyed his film and likes how Ricky moves on the field. It's the same type of things we heard when we talked to the entire Stanford staff. A lot of people are calling him the best defensive tackle in the region."
It's hard to argue with them.
As a junior Heimuli had 10 tackles for a loss and five sacks. Also performed really well at the recent U.S. Army All-America Combine in San Antonio. He measured in at 6-3 ½, 280 pounds at the event, ran an electronic 5.22-second time in the 40-yard dash, clocked a 4.96 shuttle time and had a 22-inch vertical leap.
Heimlui is attending the Nike Camp that is being held at USC in April and will also attend to All-Poly Camp this summer in Utah.
