Mount Prospect, Ill. three star ranked offensive lineman recruit Eric Hedstrom (6-foot-6, 265 pounds) has set his second official visit.
“I'm going to make an official visit to Northwestern," Eric Hedstrom said. "I'm very familiar with the Wildcats program, it seems like I've been around the coaches and the campus in Evanston forever. I'm going to make my official visit on October 22nd. We have a game on that Friday night, and I'm planning to head to Northwestern the following morning for my official visit."
"Northwestern is very close to home, so that's one of the reasons I'm looking at the Wildcats, plus it's going to make it much easier for me to make an official visit during my season. I'm very busy in different sports, so it's going to be hard for me to make too many official visits. I definitely wanted to take an official visit to Evanston, and the timing of the visit just works out very well for me."

Hedstrom is still struggling to name any favorites at this point.
"I just haven't had one school really stand out from the others at this point. I'm really excited to have as many options that I have at this point, but it's really tough to eliminate any schools. I'm basically still doing research and looking at several schools."
Will Hedstrom take all five allotted official visits?
"I pretty much doubt it. I'm playing football now, then I go straight into my basketball season, so being able to get away for three more weekends would be very, very tough. In reality, I'm shooting for making 3-4 official visits at the most before I make my final college choice."
