Heath picks up new offer

Palm Beach Lakes, Fla., athlete Brandon Heath can easily be considered one of the top players in the Sunshine State for the class of 2006. He has previously drawn scholarship offers from Florida, NC State and West Virginia, but he has now picked up his fourth offer.
"I got an offer from Louisville today," Heath said. "They are offering me a scholarship to play both sides of the ball. I had really only been getting offers to play either wide receiver or safety, but Louisville says I can play both."

The 6-foot, 175-pound Heath attended the NIKE camp in Miami as a sophomore where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.57 seconds and had a 30-inch vertical jump.
"I would definitely add Louisville to my list now," Heath said. "Just the opportunity to play both ways alone is pretty big. The rest of the schools that I am looking at are still pretty much the same."
Heath plans to make a return trip to the NIKE camp in April and he stated that he would also be attending camps at West Virginia and Florida.
"Oklahoma called my coach today and they want me to come out to their junior day," Heath said. "I would really like to go, but I doubt I will be able to make it out there because it so far away. If they offered they are definitely a school that I would look at."
So far he only has one junior day lined up to attend, but that could change over the next few weeks.
"I am planning to go to Florida's junior day on March 26 as of right now," Heath said. "That is the only one I have lined up for sure at this point, but I may try to get to Florida State or Miami's whenever it is if I can make it up there."
