Heastie visits Morgantown

Rivals250 wide receiver Logan Heastie returned to West Virginia this past weekend. The 6-foot-2, 192-pounder is a soft commit at the moment. He stopped through Morgantown on an unofficial for the Cincinnati game.
"It went good," he stated. "Even though it was a tough loss, it was a heck of a game. It was the craziest game I have been to in my life. They had riot control out there.

"They had some offensive struggles and one of the cornerbacks transferred from Wake Forest and the offensive coordinator for Cincinnati was at West Virginia. He was telling them all the plays coming up. I do think next year they will have all the pieces to the puzzle and I can help Noel Devine get some running lanes."
What did Heastie do on the unofficial?
"I just hung out with the players and some recruits, Eugene Smith and Deon Long. It was cool."
What did Heastie think about the game?
"I just think if it weren't for a couple plays, a fumble and pass interference it would be better. They should be fine," he said. "Next year I think they can compete for a championship."
The four-star prospect confirmed he has plans to take his official to North Carolina in a couple weeks.
"I am going there on the 22nd," he said. "I really want to see what they are about. I want to see what they are talking about.
"That is the only other visit I have planned at this time."
