Heard still undecided after LSU visit

Wharton, Texas offensive lineman Kellen Heard has two official visits in the book. But, no decision has been made, yet.
"Kellen has visited Miami and LSU," Wharton coach Russell Roberts said. "He had a good time at Miami and he said he had a good time at LSU. Schools treat you really well on visits when they are trying to get you to choose their school. So, I'm not surprised he had a good time."

Despite the good time, the 6-foot-6, 335-pound Heard has not made any choice.
"LSU has done a good job of recruiting him. He just isn't to the point where he's done. They all have done a good job. He has not committed anywhere," Roberts said. "I thought he had another visit still set up, but at this point, he does not, I guess. I think he will be visiting Texas A&M before long."
The Aggies join Miami at the top of the four-star rated tackle.
"I'd say Miami and Texas A&M are at the top," Roberts said. "Those are the ones he has talked about the most. But, I don't know how it will all play out. We'll see before too long."
Heard has helped lead Wharton to a 4-3 has had two of his better games in recent weeks.
"Kellen has had two excellent games in the last three weeks," he said. "One of the two was probably the best game of his career. He just did everything he was supposed to do and he did it well. We've been playing a tough schedule too. Two of our three losses were to 4A schools. But, we've managed to be 2-0 in district games so far."
