Thornton Township three star ranked defensive end prospect Keyon Brown (6-foot-3, 230 pounds) has verballed to Purdue University on Wednesday night according to Thornton Township head coach Bill Mosel.

Mosel talked about what Brown will bring to the table for the Boilermakers.
"Keyon is just a very explosive player on the field. He runs a legit 4.6/40 yard dash and that's coming from a kid that's 230 pounds plus. His first step is great, and he's also just started to scratch the surface on how good he can be at the next level. All he really needs is more experience at the position, since last year was his first year playing at defensive end. He's definitely a prototype physically for that position, and he's also a great speed guy for Purdue."
Mosel also talked about what sets Brown apart on the field.
"Keyon's overall God given ability as well as his overall talents is what really sets him apart. He just a very talented kid who's going to get much better over the next few years. I would compare him to Tim Jamison (former Thornton High Schol All American/current Michigan Wolverine), he has those type of skills and abilities that Tim had at this point."
Brown choose the Boilermakers over Illinois, Northwestern and Michigan State.
