Hazelton has two early leaders

HAMPTON, Ga. - Defensive end Curtis Hazelton from Roswell, Ga., hasn't had much issue picking up tons of early recruiting mail from several colleges within the Southeast region and beyond.
Hazelton, a 6-foot-3, 232-pounder, says that Duke, Alabama, Georgia, Louisville, Vanderbilt, and UCF are all showing him interest early. Two of those schools have caught his attention for academic reasons.

"It would be between Vanderbilt and Duke," Hazelton said. "I like the academic programs that both of those schools provide."
The only trip that Hazelton has been on was to Georgia Tech last month.
"That went pretty well," Hazelton said about Tech. "I was impressed by the facilities and that's a school I'd be interested in."
If he had to guess, Hazelton says that the interest is high enough from Duke that an offer could be coming soon. In the mean time, he says he'll take trips to Georgia and Central Florida in the near future.
"I'm going to wait a while," he said. "I'm not going to rush into a decision."
Hazelton started as a sophomore for Roswell. He recorded 34 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery as a junior.
