Hayworth pulls first offer

Offer No. 1 has come in for Kingsport (Tenn.) Dobyns Bennett offensive guard Ty Hayworth. The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder pulled the scholarship on Friday and broke it down with Rivals.com.
"Cincinnati offered me, I got a letter in the mail on Friday," he said. "Right now I'm in shock. It hasn't really set in yet.

"I just got done with a camp at Georgia Tech on Friday and my dad pulled me to the side during a water break and told me I got a letter in the mail."
Hayworth broke down the Bearcats more.
"It's a great school, it's a nice school," he said. "I was down there last summer for camp and I like how everything is compact and really nice.
"I'm trying to get back up there sometime in July."
Already Hayworth has been to five camps including Clemson, NC State, Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia Tech. What have the school said?
"NC State told me they are not offering now," he said. "They said they really like me and to keep in touch. Tennessee said I did really well and that I'm a road grading run blocker, but they need to look at film from camp to see pass blocking wise. They would let me know whether they'll offer or not. Clemson really liked me and told me if they don't somewhere else will. I haven't been in touch with Kentucky as much, they want to watch the first couple games before they do anything."
More camps are coming for the lineman.
"I've got Virginia on Saturday and Virginia Tech on July 9th, then Vanderbilt on the 11th and Wake Forest on the 16th. I'm trying to squeeze Cincinnati in there too."
