Hayward Duo Visiting Cal

This is shaping up to be a huge weekend for Cal as the Bears will be tripping in between 10-12 players. Two of those will be from Hayward (Calif.) in standout defensive lineman Phillip Mbakogu and athlete Robert Jordan.
"We're definitely going to be a package deal," Jordan said. "We're best friends and have all the same schools on our list right now. Cal is this weekend for us, then we have Kansas State (Dec 19) and Oregon (Jan. 9). My last two visits will be to Notre Dame and Washington State. Phillip has already been to Notre Dame so I'll take that one by myself. All five have offered me."

Jordan, 5-10, 150 pounds is a talented player on both sides of the ball and is getting looks at both receiver and cornerback. He played in just eight games due to a broken fibula but still caught 30 balls for 650 yards and had 18 total touchdowns including two on kick returns, four on punt returns and one on a returned interception.
"Notre Dame likes me at receiver and everyone else is just saying athlete," Jordan said. "I don't have a preference, I just want to play wherever I can get on the field the fastest. My plan is to take all five of my trips and then make my decision on January 29 because that's my birthday."
What happens if you and Phillip happen to like a different school the best?
"That won't be a problem for us," Jordan said. "We'll just sit down and talk things out. Our friendship is strong enough where we'll make the best choice for both of us."
