Haynes sets first visit

Mansfield (Texas) Summit wide receiver Bradley Haynes is being very patient with his recruiting process. With his first official visit now set up, he's still waiting to see what else comes for him.
With offers in hand from New Mexico, New Mexico State, North Texas, and UTEP, the 6-foto-2, 195-pound Haynes has decided on his first date to visit one of those schools. At the same time, he's trying to have a good final year of high school football.

"I'm going to visit UTEP on Oct. 6," Haynes said. "I'm just really interested in UTEP and I like their coaching staff. I want to get to know them and see the campus. Plus, it's somewhat close to home."
Haynes says he'll most likely make a decision after the season. He originally planned to decide late this summer, but things didn't workout that way.
On the gridiron, Haynes has been fighting for the ball and trying to be at team player.
"We have a lot of offensive options out there," Haynes said. "So, sometimes I don't get a ton of catches and some games I do. I want to get 10 catches a game, but if I don't, I can help the team in other ways."
