Haynes adds second offer

Mansfield, Texas wide receiver Bradley Haynes added his next scholarship offer after camping a few days ago. There is a bigger connection to his latest offer than just another school on his list.
Haynes, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound receiver, definitely has the bloodlines to be a Division I player. His grandfather, Abner Haynes, played for North Texas. After going to the UNT camp this past weekend, he had his second offer on the table. That has changed up his favorites.

"I think they're a nice school and I'm happy to have the chance to carry on the tradition," Haynes said. "It's nice to know since my grandfather played there."
Haynes says that he'll be visiting UTEP either this summer or in the fall. Both schools have positives and negatives to Haynes.
"I like certain things about UTEP that UNT doesn't have and there are certain things I like about UNT that UTEP doesn't have," Haynes said. "I like the engineering program at UNT, but UTEP has a really great coaching staff that seems to have a lot of experience."
Haynes wouldn't like to wait very long to make his commitment.
"I'd like to get it done before the season to get it out of the way and focus on the season," Haynes said. "I want to make the best decision possible, so that might cause me to wait. If so, it will be during the season."
