Hayes to choose between four

Linebacker/running back Jerome Hayes isn't sure where he'll go to school next year, but he does have a list of four schools that he's going to choose from. What does he like about each school, and when will he make his decision?
"I'm still planning on waiting until Feb. 2 to make my decision," said Hayes. "I really don't know what I'm going to do yet at this point. It's up in the air. All I know is it will either be Miami, Florida, Rutgers or Penn State. Those four have set themselves apart from the rest."

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound standout from Bayonne, N.J. is a four-star prospect and is one of the fastest players at his position in the nation, running the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds. What is it that he likes about these schools?
"It all goes back to the relationships that I've built with the coaches over the past few months," he said. "There are things I like about each school, but the big thing is the coaching staffs have really made me feel comfortable and excited about the future."
Hayes has tremendous versatility because of his physique and natural ability, so what position does he think he'll play at the next level?
"All four schools have talked about me playing linebacker, so that's probably where I'll end up. Rutgers has mentioned giving me a shot at running back to see how I'd do. I really don't care what position I play, as long as I can get on the field and help my team win. I expect to play some my first year. I don't know whether that means I'll start, play offense or defense, or just play special teams. But I want to go in and compete for a spot."
