Hayes ready for Miami

Outside linebacker/running back Jerome Hayes has been on three official visits, so he already has a lot to think about. He'll be in Miami this weekend, and the 'Canes are hoping to help their standing.
"I've been on three visits so far, and I'm excited about Miami this Friday," said Hayes. "They've got a great program, it's down in Florida, and I like what I hear from everyone. It won't be my last visit, but it's getting closer and closer to the day when I'll make my decision.

"I'll either take my last visit to Michigan, Louisville or Penn State, and then I should be ready to make a decision. If not right after that fifth visit, then sometime between late January and Signing Day."
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound prospect from Bayonne, N.J. has seen plenty of coaches come by his house recently.
"Oh there have been plenty that have come by. Coach Friedgen from Maryland was here, and I enjoyed talking to him a lot. Rutgers, Louisville and Miami have all been by too. Every time I talk to these coaches I get a better feel for things."
Hayes is a four-star prospect and rated the No. 13 outside linebacker in the nation.
