Hayes heading to Tucson
Jovon Hayes of Los Angeles Dorsey had been leaning toward Arizona after an official visit to Tucson back in early December. However, he had been insistent on taking other visits, including scheduled trips to Mississippi State and Arizona State the next two weekends. But that might be a thing of the past.

Sources indicated that Hayes committed about an hour ago to Arizona coach Mike Stoops. It was news Hayes confirmed with pleasure.
"I told coach Stoops I wanted to be a Wildcat," Hayes said. "He was excited and said I was one of the biggest guys still left on their board. He was excited about it. I talked to him while he was out on the road recruiting in Phoenix.
"He told me he was starting to get a little worried about me, but I wanted to be sure about my decision. I knew that it was going to be Arizona for a little while now, but I had to just be sure about my decision."
Hayes, who is 6-foot-2 and 320 pounds, is ranked as the nation's No. 10 offensive guard and a four-star prospect. He is also a member of the Rivals250 team.
