Hayden talks about his UW commitment

"Yes, I committed to Wisconsin," four-star defensive tackle Nick Hayden of Hartland (Wis.) Arrowhead said.
"It was basically the coaches. And the players I talked to had a lot of good things to say. Wisconsin has a winning tradition. And it's close to home."

"Michigan was second. It was close for awhile. Then me and my family talked about it and we thought Wisconsin was the best place to go."
"I'll be a defensive end or tackle. It depends on how big I get. Right now I'm perfect for defensive end. But if I get bigger I could move inside to tackle."
The 6-foot-5, 265-pound Hayden is ranked as the No. 59 player in the nation, the No. 8 defensive tackle and the 14th best prospect in the Midwest by Rivals.com. He selected Wisconsin over scholarship offers from teams like Michigan, Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, and Purdue.
