Hawkins talks UCLA visit

Jeremiah Hawkins headed over to the Rose Bowl last weekend to watch the BYU-UCLA game and the 2017 three-star had an excellent time.
The Buena Park, Calif., prospect said he talked with receivers coach Eric Yarber and that was definitely one of the highlights.

The Bruins have not offered Hawkins yet but he's hopeful an offer comes through soon and if it does then UCLA would definitely shoot way up his list.
"It was a great visit," Hawkins said.
"I really enjoyed the UCLA atmosphere and I was really impressed on what was displayed on and off the field."
Hawkins was accompanied by his parents on the trip to UCLA and overall it was a great time throughout the day.
If UCLA decides to offer, Hawkins made it clear the Bruins might be tough to beat.
"They are definitely one of the top schools on my list," Hawkins said. "Coach Yarber greeted my parents and me during warm-ups when we were on the field and I definitely can see myself playing under his wing."
So far, the 2017 prospect who projects as a wide receiver in college has been offered by Nebraska, Utah, Washington and Weber State.
UCLA has been showing interest for some time but the Bruins have not offered up to this point. Arizona State, Cal, Washington State, Oregon State and Notre Dame have also reached out.
