Hawkins excited about new interest

Jaylinn Hawkins continues to receive tremendous amounts of mail and the 2015 wide receiver from Buena Park, Calif., hopes more offers will come soon.
The 6-foot-1, 166-pound four-star prospect reeled off a bunch of new programs that have reached out recently and he's especially excited about Oregon since those coaches have shown the most interest in the last few weeks.

"I've been getting a lot of letters every day," Hawkins said.
"Oregon, Florida State, Arkansas, Alabama, Washington, Duke, Northwestern, Utah, Washington State, Vanderbilt, Cal, UCLA, there are a lot of schools.
"There is a whole lot of interest. I talked to Oregon two weeks ago or last week. The receivers coach came and said he really likes me and he said they're looking forward to talking to me more. He told me to communicate with them on Facebook. Hopefully, that will be an offer."
If the Ducks offered, Hawkins said he would take it very seriously.
"That is a tight school," Hawkins said. "As of right now that is one of my favorites."
There are others interested in Hawkins, who already has offers from Oregon State, San Diego State and San Jose State. Some other Pac-12 programs have reached out and Hawkins is hopeful they could be close with offers.
"Arizona and Arizona State are really on it," Hawkins said. "Utah is really on it. I don't know. I just have to see."
