Eric McCollom.
"They've had a great, great season and they've been
really recruiting me hard the last month or so," he said. "They've got a great
offense for a quarterback like me. They're definitely out in front right now."
McCollom has set up a visit to Iowa on Jan. 17. He'll
also visit Wake Forest on Jan. 10. Other schools under consideration for the
final three spots are Maryland, Duke and Tennessee. Those three teams have yet
to offer, but have shown consistent interest, he said.
Penn State is also in the mix and has had a
long-standing offer on the table, but McCollom says he's seen enough of the
campus already during camps and unofficial visits.
