Hawkeyes lead for Aumaitre

Offensive tackle Nyere Aumaitre was in Raleigh on an official visit to NC State over the weekend. Did the visit help the Pack's chances with the Camden, N.J. prospect?
"It was a nice visit," said Aumaitre. "I liked the facilities and the coaches and all, but it probably wasn't my favorite visit. There were probably better days I could have gone since people were gone, but I still got a good look at the football program and what the school is all about."

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive tackle runs the 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds. Who is his leader?
"Iowa is number one right now," he said. "They're becoming the top place in the country for offensive linemen to go, and I think they could really help me realize all my athletic potential."
So is a decision looming in the near future?
"That's definitely a possibility. I could take an official visit this weekend, but I need another day or two to really think about that. If I had to decide today it would be Iowa, but it's not over yet."
