Hawkeyes land tight end

"I committed to Iowa," tight end Lucas Cox said.
"I chose Iowa because I want to play in the Big Ten. That was one of the main reasons. The main reason was that I want to play in the Big Ten, and Iowa has an up and coming program and a good coaching staff."
"I made two official visits. I took one to Toledo and one to Akron. And I'll be taking one out to Iowa next weekend."

The 6-foot-4 and 242 pound Cox, from Springdale, Pa., caught 10 passes and scored three times during his senior season. All three schools Cox mentioned offered a scholarship, as did a number of others.
