Grandville, Mich., standout Andrew Hawken committed to Michigan State during the summer and nothing has happened since to change Hawken's mind.
But what position will Hawken play for the Spartans?
"Maybe linebacker," Hawken said. "But maybe running back. I'm not sure."
The 6-foot-2 and 220 pound Hawken played running back during his senior season, but also split out wide quite often. He rushed for 980 yards averaging almost nine yards per carry. Hawken also caught 24 passes. He scored 14 times and played some linebacker too.
Hawken is looking forward to his career at Michigan State.
"If I had to guess I'd say I'll be redshirted next season," Hawken said. "But we haven't talked about it. I still need to get stronger and put on weight."
Hawken is the No. 33 outside linebacker in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 6 prospect in the state of Michigan.
