Hawgs score in-state star
Springdale (Ark.) Shiloh Christian defensive end Wes Murphy can't play his senior year because of the Arkansas eight-semester rule, but that didn't keep the Hawgs from offering a scholarship.
It also didn't keep Murphy from accepting.

"This is the best thing for me," Murphy, who is 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, said.
"I thought about it for a little bit, and the reasons to commit were there. I couldn't think of one reason why I shouldn't commit. So, I went ahead and pulled the trigger."
Murphy was also getting looks from Miami, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Clemson.
Murphy is a three-star prospect.
