Hawgs land two line prospects

Most talented players from Arkansas end up as Razorbacks. Offensive lineman Tyler Morgan of Hot Springs, Ark., carried on that tradition.
Morgan, who is 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds, committed to the Hawgs on Tuesday, shortly after a scholarship offer was extended.

"I got the call about 7 a.m. yesterday morning," Morgan said. "It was the Arkansas coaches and coach Nutt was on the line, too. They said they wanted to offer me a scholarship and if I would take it. I accepted right on the spot.
"I've always wanted to be a Hawg."
Morgan picked the Hawgs over an offer from Arkansas State and interest from Louisiana Tech and Texas A&M.
According to published reports, the Hawgs also received another commitment on Tuesday from Zac Tubbs, a 6-foot-7, 330-pound offensive guard from Cullman, Ala.
Tubbs is a sleeper prospect that UA discovered at their summer camp. They offered him shortly after the camp, and he weighed his options until Tuesday when he committed.
Tubbs chose the Razorbacks over Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State,
Alabama and Notre Dame.
