Hawaii standout makes college choice

Defensive tackle Lolomana Mikaele (6-3, 240, 4.6) from Honolulu (Hawai'i) Damien is done with his visits and has made up his mind where he's going to continue his education and play his college football.
"Coach Tui (Mike Tuiasosopo) called me this morning and I committed to him after I talked to my parents," Mikaele said. "Arizona was just the perfect fit for me."

"After my visit and after getting to know Conan Amituanai," Mikaele said. "I just knew that Arizona was the perfect place for me."
Mikaele projects as a defensive tackle for Arizona but he does have the versatility to play some defensive end in some packages.
Mikaele chose the Wildcats over offers from New Mexico State, Utah and San Diego State.
Mikaele had an outstanding senior season that saw earn first-team all-league, all-star and second-team all-state.
Mikaele was a member of the Rivals.com preseason Hawaii Top 15 team for the class of 2006 landing as the Aloha State's No. 6 rated prospect at any position.
