Rivers is rated b y Rivals and the second best player in Hawaii this season. He reminds many of Randy Moss with his outstanding body control and the way makes the circus catch seem ordinary.
Rivers plays big in big games. He was injured for a spell his senior season but he came back in time to catch a career record 12 passes for 106 yards in the state championship, which was a 27-12 victory for St. Louis.
Hawaii wins the services of Rivers over offers from Arizona State, Oregon, Washington and Washington State.
