Hatch waits on the Sooners

Dallas (Texas) Carter offensive center Jeremiah Hatch got an early offer from the Pac-10, but hadn't heard much from that team for a while. Several were sending mail, but the talented lineman was waiting on more offers to arrive.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pounder doesn't have to wait any longer. Three more schools jumped into the mix for the talented Hatch. Now he's looking at upcoming visits and academic business before favorites.

"Colorado State, Arkansas, and TCU have all offered me now," Hatch said. "I like it man. Any kind of offer is a good one to me."
Though Hatch says that he is open to all schools, one offer in particular may change things in a big way.
"I'm waiting on Oklahoma," Hatch said. "That's the big one that I've been holding out for. I just like the coaching staff and the whole environment around the school. I went down there for a spring game unofficial trip.
"I don't know if I'll commit right when they offer. But, I'm 99 percent sure I'd go there if it happened."
Oklahoma has told Hatch that they're still evaluating his film and will get back to him about an offer. At the time of his visit, he didn't have his film there to give the coaching staff.
Hatch says his next bit task is to tackle his academic duties.
"I've got to knock out the SAT on June 3," Hatch said. "I'm getting ready for that right now."
