Haselhorst still pumped about KU

Olathe (Kan.) East is one of the top teams in the state of Kansas and one of the biggest reasons why is the play of three-star two-way lineman Todd Haselhorst. The 6-foot-4, 284-pound Haselhorst has East playing in the sectionals this weekend against Blue Valley North at home in Olathe.
"I'm expecting us to come out playing where we left off last Friday and put it to them,” Haselhorst said. “There kind of hot when they get confidence, so we are hoping to tear them down before they have the chance to hurt us."

Haselhorst, who committed to Kansas back in August over offers from Arizona, Kansas State, Michigan State and Minnesota, said he was hoping to visit two weekends from now for the Iowa State game.
But with East hopefully still in the playoffs, the visit has been pushed back to January 30.
“That’s when coach is going to bring in all of the commitments,” Haselhorst said.
“Kansas is doing things that are turning heads, and then next year we will be in really good shape as far as talent. Some of there playmakers are only freshman. I thought losing Whitimore would change things drastically, but Barmann has filled in nicely.”
