Has one offer and expecting another

Mason City, Iowa offensive tackle John Tjaden, who is 6-foot-7 and 285 pounds, has one scholarship offer (Iowa State) in his pocket and at least one more should be coming very soon.
"Iowa said they would offer at their camp, which is June 16th to the 19th," Tjaden said. "And Kansas is looking into what they can do to possibly offer."

His summer camp schedule is not finished yet. He plans to attend the Iowa camp next and then Stanford is planned for Jun. 20.
Tjaden's month of May was fairly busy with colleges coaches checking on him.
"Coaches from Iowa State, Iowa, Kansas State and Northwestern called," Tjaden said. "Iowa State is recruiting the hardest and they're my favorite right now."
No official visit dates have been set and his decison could come about any time.
"I may decide early or I may wait until later," he said. "In other words, the commitment could come any time between now and signing day."
As a junior he made first-team all-conference and honorable-mention all-state.
