An article in this mornings Long Beach Press Telegram had Ryan Moya committing to UCLA last night during the Bruins in-home visit. We talked with Ryan’s mother Marcia a few minutes ago who was adamant that no decision had been made.
“No way, Thursday is when Ryan will decide what he’s doing,” Marcia said. “It’s just like I told you yesterday, UCLA was in the home last night, Cal will be over tonight and then Boise State on Wednesday. John (Embree) even asked Ryan when he would make a decision and we told him Thursday after the visits were done so I’m not sure where that article came from.
“The visit was good, our family really likes UCLA a lot but Boise State is a great school too. It’s really between those two and if Ryan had already made his decision, we wouldn’t be wasting these colleges time by having them come over to the house.”
Moya, 6-2, 230 pounds is one of the elite tight ends in the West region, currently rated the No. 3 player at the position. Check back with us on Thursday for where Moya will be playing his college ball.
