Has Jones decided

Compton (Calif.) defensive lineman Datone Jones is one of the few remaining players out West who has yet to publicly solidify his final decision. Jones will be signing tomorrow and the location of where he plans to sign could be a strong indicator of where he's leaning.
Jones, 6-4, 240 pounds is one of the elite rush ends in the West this year. He finished the year with 91 tackles and seven sacks to earn all-area and all-state honors.

On the recruiting front, Jones committed early to UCLA but then took visits in the last month to Oregon and Arizona State this past weekend. After his visit to Eugene, there was talk that Jones was leaning to the Ducks.
"I just talked to him this morning and it looks like it will be UCLA for him," Compton coach Calvin Bryant said. "He's working hard to make it possible to get in there academically and I think he's really excited about signing tomorrow.
"We were going to do something at the school but he's going to be going to a restaurant owned by Jerry Johnson's (UCLA WR commit) dad to do it. I guess a lot of the Bruin commitments are doing it there so if he's going there to sign, I think that's probably a good indicator that he's going to be a Bruin."
