Has Islander pulled the trigger

It has been reported in the usually accurate Honolulu Advertiser that one of the Islands most sought after offensive lineman has made his verbal commitment. It was not however confirmed by the player's coach and calls to the home have not yet been returned.
The player is offensive tackle and three-star prospect Shawn Sisifo Lauvao (6-3, 300, 5.2) from Honolulu (Hawai'i) Farrington. The school that the Honolulu Advertiser said he committed to Arizona State.

"Shawn could make up his mind at anytime," Farrington coach Randall Okimoto said. "He is supposed to visit Utah this weekend but you never know."
"Shawn has great strength," Okimoto said. "He already benches 420-pounds."
According to Okimoto his talented offensive tackle, besides ASU, has offers from Arizona, Cal, Washington, BYU, Utah, Boise State and the home school Hawai'i.
