Has High committed

There was a report in a local newspaper saying that Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne lineman Tim High had committed to UNLV. We checked in with Narbonne recruiting coordinator Craig Armstrong to find out more on the situation.
High, 6-2, 305 pounds is a talented lineman who could play on either side of the ball. He's a physical player who we really liked at the NorCal Nike camp last summer.

High tripped to UNLV last weekend and it wouldn't surprise us one bit if he eventually chooses the Rebels but according to Armstrong, it's not a done deal just yet.
"I just spoke to Tim and he said he hasn't committed anywhere yet," Armstrong said. "He's going to visit San Diego State next weekend (Jan. 27) and then decide between those two schools. I'm not sure if he's going anywhere this weekend, I didn't ask him. I thought he was going to UNLV this weekend but I guess he visited last weekend.
"San Diego State hasn't offered him yet but will likely do so on the visit. They're recruiting him for the offensive line whereas I think UNLV likes him for defense. It doesn't matter to Tim, he likes both positions pretty equally and will just choose the school that he feels the most comfortable at."
