Harvins QB sets two visits

With news yesterday that Tim Tebow was headed to Florida, that appeared to put two-star quarterback Donny Kirby back in contention for the quarterback slot at Alabama. However, after hearing last month from Alabama, the Virginia Beach (Va.) Landstown prospect hasn't heard much since. So where will he go?
"I honestly haven't talked to Alabama in a while," he said. "I guess they really thought they were going to get Tim, but maybe they'll come back if they're still looking for a quarterback this season."

The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder with 4.81-second speed has scheduled two official visits already to Cincinnati on January 14th and Bowling Green on January 21st.
"I don't have an offer from Cincinnati, but I probably should get one as soon as I visit. I like that they are recruiting a couple people on my team including our tight end Rashad Phillips, it would be pretty cool to play together. I also like that they run a lot of the same concepts on offense that we do at Landstown," he said. "As for Bowling Green, their quarterback might be leaving early allowing for me to go in and be a backup immediately and maybe even get some playing time next year."
Kirby still is very interested in East Carolina too as they have been with him from the beginning and were the first school to offer.
All three schools have come for in-home visits with the quarterback. Kirby has been the QB throwing touchdown passes to Percy Harvin and Damon McDaniel all year.
