Hart rock-solid with Auburn

Rumors about players wavering on their commitments frequently arise on the eve of National Signing Day.
But one such player in the speculation spotlight, four-star Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley offensive lineman Leon Hart, says he’s rock-solid with his choice.

“I’ve heard people still saying they think I’m going to switch and sign with South Carolina, but I’m definitely signing with Auburn (on Wednesday),” he said. “I’m very happy with my decision. I knew in my heart that was the right place for me.
“I think a lot of that comes because I live so close to South Carolina, and a lot of people were surprised by my decision. A bunch of them had me going there for a long time.”
Hart (6-4, 290, 5.1) is rated the No. 5 offensive guard in the nation by Rivals.com.
He said a big part of his decision to sign with Auburn was the Tigers’ need for immediate help on the offensive line.
“I also felt very comfortable on my visit there,” he said. “I really fit in with the people there better than anywhere else.”
