Harrison has visit plans

Killeen, Texas outside linebacker Akeem Harrison has been putting in more work on the offensive side of the ball lately than he has on the defensive side.
Working at tight end and outside receiver, the 6-2, 225-pound Harrison is doing what he can to help out the football team. Harrison is focused on the season, but feels good about the direction of his recruitment.

"It's been going good. It's going good so far. Nothing has really changed. It's just the same schools," Harrison said. "I haven't received any (new offers) yet, but I hear some are getting close."
He currently holds an offer from Boise State, but says he has been receiving the most interest from Houston, Baylor, and Arizona State.
"Most of them are on the defensive side at linebacker," Harrison said. "There's only a few at slot receiver. I don't really have a preference. Wherever they want me to play I'll be there."
College coaches talk to him on Facebook and check in with him about his games, but he does not have any official visit plans at this point. That does not mean he has no travel plans, he does plan to take a few unofficial visits in the near future.
"I'll be going to a TCU game here pretty soon and a Texas A&M game as well and a Baylor game too," Harrison said.
As for a decision, Harrison hopes to make a decision shortly after his senior season. For now it's time for football and doing his part to help his team.
"I'm feeling good," Harrison said. "I could be doing better on some things but overall I'm doing well."
Harrison and his Killeen Roos teammates are currently 3-1 on the season with a match-up with Harker Heights next on the schedule.
