Quarterback Harrison Beck is one of the top signal-callers in the nation, and his 18 offers are evidence that college coaches agree. He's compiled a list of his five favorite schools.

"Right now I like Nebraska, NC State, Ole Miss, Michigan and Florida," said Beck. "That really isn't in any order, except I'd put Nebraska at the top. In the past that wouldn't be the place to go for a quarterback that wants to pass the ball a lot, but I think with their new staff it will be.
"I'm basically looking for an offense that will emphasize running the ball and the passing game. It would be easy to say I want to throw it fifty times a game, but that's not realistic. I want to have a good running game to take some of the pressure off, and then I'll look at the receivers and what they like to do with the passing game."
At 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds the Clearwater (Fl.) Countryside quarterback runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds. While he's primarily a pocket passer, his ability to tuck the ball and run allows him to take his game to another level.
"I'm mostly a passer, but when I need to avoid pressure and run for yardage I know I can do that," he said.
Beck has said he will take visits to schools like Nebraska and Michigan before making his decision, and doesn't expect that to happen before his senior season begins.
