Harris visits UConn

Terrence Harris was one of several Paramus Catholic (N.J.) prospects to visit UConn recently and the 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive end liked what he saw.
To date UMass is the only school that has offered Harris, but he could be on the cusp of more. One reason he was anxious to visit UConn was the opportunity to get some face time with the coaches and hopefully help his cause for an offer.

"It was good. I enjoyed it," Harris said of the trip. "It was an unofficial visit and just a practice there. I liked the practice and the way they moved at a high pace. Everything was moving.
"The coaches were going pretty fast. I liked the head coach a lot. They've got a really good staff there."
Prior to the visit UConn had not spoken with Harris much, but they made it clear they were hoping he would make the trip. When he showed they expressed that they were pleased to see him.
Harris has another trip scheduled for this week.
"I'll be at Maryland on Tuesday," he said. "I went to their first game last year against William & Mary and that was good too. I kind of know what it's like there but I'm excited to get out there again."
