Harris talks about his SC visit

Gardena (Calif.) Serra defensive lineman Da'John Harris took his third official visit this past weekend to USC. The All-American tackle will take one more visit in January before making his decision.
Harris, 6-4, 270 pounds is one of the elite lineman in the West region this year. He has already visited Michigan and Nebraska and said he loved his visit to Troy this past weekend.

"It was real cool," Harris said. "I've been to SC a ton of times already but it was still cool for me to hang out with the players on the team and watch the guys practice. I love the intensity the team practices with, everyone is always going all out and the pace is really impressive.
"One of the things I really like about SC is the alumni support they have as well. They have a great support group there and even if you don't make it to the NFL, a degree from SC is huge and they take care of their own. SC is a family, everyone always talks about that but just bonding with the other recruits and the guys on the team, you really feel how close everyone there is.
"Kyle Moore was my host the first night and then Stafon Johnson hosted me the next night. It was fun hanging out with both guys and I learned a lot from talking with them. One night at dinner, a lot of the recruits stood up and started talking about how special it is to be recruited by SC and how great it would be if we all ended up there but no one really committed or anything.
"SC is cool but I'm not ready to name a favorite right now. I'm still looking at all the schools I visited and I have one more trip left and that with Oregon (Jan. 12), that will be my last visit.
"After the visit to Oregon, I plan on making my announcement but I haven't figured out what I'm going to do yet. I don't know if we'll do something here at the school or if I'll go on Fox or not but I'm sure I'll do something. I'm going in to this Oregon visit with an open mind and I'm hoping to have a great time."
