Harris set to see Boston College

Groveland (Fla.) South Lake wide receiver Patrick Harris holds offers from Boston College, Duke, Iowa State, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, South Carolina, Temple, Troy, and Washington State. He says that four schools are staying in regular contact with him.
"I have been talking a lot with Boston College, Iowa State, Middle Tennessee, and Memphis," Harris said. "That is about it."

The 6-foot-1, 165-pound wideout is hoping to hit the road later this month for his first visit.
"I haven't taken any trips yet but I will be going to Boston College on July 25th," Harris said. "That is the only trip I have planned as of right now."
Heading into his trip to Chestnut Hill, Harris knows a bit about the Eagles' program.
"I know Boston College is a big academic school and that they are in the ACC,," Harris said. "I just want to get a chance to meet all of the coaches and some of the players."
One coach he has a relationship with heading into the visit is his primary recruiter, Jeff Comissiong.
"He has told me that they definitely want me as a wide receiver. That is about it," Harris said. "He hasn't told me about my chances of playing as a true freshman. Hopefully that would be possible, for me to go in and play my freshman year."
Harris didn't rule out the possibility of making a commitment while in Boston for his visit.
"There is no rush but there is a chance," Harris said. "It could happen but I may also visit other colleges to make sure that is what I want to do. I could wait until September when I start taking my official visits. I could make a decision then."
At this time, Harris said he definitely plans to take an official visit to Iowa State and Memphis - two schools he wanted to visit this summer but financially wasn't able to.
As a junior, Harris had 297 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
