Harris set to leave for Oklahoma

"I have about 25 or 30 offers," Alexandria, La., safety Nic Harris said. "About 18 or 19 of them are in writing. All of them have called really."
"It's down to five schools, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M. All of them offered."

"I have my official visits. I go to Oklahoma this weekend. I leave on Saturday. I go to Texas A&M the next weekend. I attend Michigan on Oct. 30. I have LSU Nov. 20 for the Ole Miss game. And Nebraska is Nov. 26."
"I have no idea when I'll make my decision. I really don't have a favorite."
"I'm looking for academics and a good coaching staff. Distance is a factor. And how I feel on my visits."
The 6-foot-2 and 208 pound Harris made 125 tackles and intercepted 10 passes during his junior season. He has been a varsity starter at free safety since near the end of his freshman season. Harris made 12 tackles and returned a punt 61 yards in his team's opening game of the 2004 season.
Harris is the No. 12 safety prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 10 overall prospect in the state of Louisiana.
