Harris looking for options

Baldwin Park (Calif.) running back Aaron Harris told us a week ago he was planning to take an official visit to Arizona this past weekend. The visit didn't happen and now the athlete is getting close to scramble mode as we inch closer to Singing Day.
Harris, 5-9, 175 pounds is one of the top backs in the state. He earned all-state underclass honors as a junior and followed it up with another all-state season this year after rushing for 1,463 yards and 28 touchdowns.

"I had scheduled the visit with Coach Dunn," Harris said. "He was the main coach recruiting me from Arizona and then he left to take a coaching job at Baylor.
"In he last couple of weeks, I've called Coach Stoops and I've also called the football office but I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone. I know everyone is busy and I'm not panicking yet but hopefully I'll have a chance to talk with someone over there and I would still love to take a visit.
"I've also been talking with San Diego State and Washington. San Diego State is probably recruiting me the hardest right now. I took an unofficial visit there earlier in the year and I like the school a lot.
"I just talked to one of the coaches last Thursday and I think they would like to get me up there for an official visit. With Washington, they said they're waiting to see how I do in a couple of my classes before they go on me.
"I really want to commit somewhere pretty soon here because Signing Day is just a few weeks away. It's getting kind of stressful and I'm just hopeful something will fall in to place for me."
