Harris enjoys his visit to USC

Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame defensive back Cary Harris took his third and final official visit this past weekend and will keep the suspense going until Signing Day when he announces on the Fox Sports Signing Day special.
Harris, 6-1, 180 pounds is one of the elite athletes in the West region and had a great three year career at Notre Dame as both a running back and cornerback. He's being recruited strictly on the defensive side of the ball.

"USC was a great visit, I really had a lot of fun," Harris said. "Since it's close to home and I've been to SC several times, I probably felt more comfortable there than any other school. I have a lot of friends on the team and know the coaches really well.
"All the recruits hung out together a lot and it felt like a big family. SC needs cornerbacks so I think I'll have a chance to come in and compete for playing time right away. At least that's my goal. They haven't promised me anything but my goal is to come in and play as a true freshman and I think I can do it.
"I'm down to USC, Oregon and Cal. Right now, I'm just going to take these next two weeks to really weight the pros and cons of each school. I don't want to name a leader right now because it wouldn't be fair to do that since I just got home from a visit. It's not about trying to keep the suspense up since I'm announcing on T.V, I really just don't have a leader right now."
