Earlier this month Sherrard Harrington worked out for a lot of college coaches that have been showing interest, and now some new schools are in the picture.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound corner from Washington (D.C.) H. D. Woodson now has offers from Duke, Tulsa and Marshall, but that list could grow very soon thanks to his performance at that workout.
"It went very well," he said. "I impressed a lot of coaches, especially a new (school) -- Virginia. Cincinnati and Illinois as well. They've been talking to me a lot lately. They're having a meeting as a staff finishing up the spring evaluation period. A lot of schools definitely like me.
"UVa just wants me to come down to their campus. They'll probably be the next school to offer."
Harrington said he does not plan to camp at any schools over the summer. He has a friend that will be training for the Olympics in Arizona and he plans on going out west to work out with him.
"Now I think I'm going to wait it out," Harrington said, ruling out an early decision. "I haven't even gotten into the recruiting process yet. I stepped away from it. I know a lot of schools are going to come in once I send my highlight tape out. I haven't even done that yet."
He reiterated that he does not have any favorites.
