Harrell to play for Red Raiders

Ennis, Texas quarterback Graham Harrell made the decision to go ahead and end his recruiting process with a phone call to Lubbock last night.
“He has verbally committed to Texas Tech,” Ennis assistant coach Paul Waller said. “He called the coaches last night and gave the Tech coaches the word.”
The 6-foot-2, 183-pound Harrell chose Mike Leach’s Red Raiders over scholarship offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Georgia, North Carolina State and Wisconsin among others.

The four-star rated signal caller should be comfortable running Leach’s high-powered offense.
“The offense they are running is similar to ours here,” Waller said. “It should be a good fit.”
