Ennis, Texas quarterback Graham Harrell’s phone has been ringing quite a bit with the opening of the May contact period.
”Louisiana Tech was the first to call,” the 6-foot-2, 183 pound Harrell said. “Texas Tech, Arizona State, Texas, Wisconsin and North Carolina State have called too this month.”
While the phone has been ringing, not all calling have offered scholarships.
“I have offers from Texas Tech, Tulane, Baylor, Wisconsin, Georgia and North Carolina State.”
Harrell did not want to name a favorite, but did say he liked one school a lot.
“I like Texas Tech a lot,” Harrell said. “The offense they run. The way they throw the ball around and all that. That is very appealing to a quarterback. Georgia and Wisconsin are schools that are far off, but they are kind of interesting.
Harrell hopes to get some looks at some schools during the upcoming months.
“I want to go visit some places during the summer. I want to go to a few one-day camps and see what the campuses are like and meet the coaches. I might be interested in making an early decision after that.”
