Harper waiting on a few

Cypress (Texas) Creek athlete/running back D.J. Harper dominated the Cougars' win over Klein Oak last weekend on the offensive side of the ball.
Harper (5-10, 170-pounds) rushed for 152 yards and caught 10 balls for 84 yards. He also returned over 80 yards of kicks in the win. It's obvious that Harper's high ankle fracture is completely healed with his performance.

His versatility has garnered a few scholarship offers, but Harper is waiting on a few more before making a decision.
"He really likes Colorado and Arkansas and the challenge of the Big 12 and SEC," father Damon Harper said. "D.J. has been receiving a lot of love from Colorado and he really likes them.
"He is seriously considering Houston because he could really fit into that offense. The coaches have told him that he's the only running back they would take if he committed. The running backs they have are going to graduate and he could get some real playing time next year."
Boise State is the most recent offer Harper has received.
